2024 presidential election results in San Diego County

Two of the national narratives explaining Kamala Harris’s loss in the 2024 presidential election held true in San Diego County, as I wrote about in more detail on Substack:
Across the board, Harris did not perform as well as Joe Biden did in 2020. She’s winning San Diego County with about 55% of the vote as of Nov. 7, but Biden had a little more than 60%.
Harris and Democrats lost ground with Latino voters. That trend held true in four San Diego County communities with large Latino populations: San Ysidro, Chula Vista, National City and Imperial Beach. (The 2024 results below are current as of Nov. 7.)
